Elections Con registration has begun! Elections con is a four day
conference, from Friday the 17th to Monday the 20th at the Unitarian
Universalist Church of Berkeley. To register, please email Maggie Shepherd at
registrar@pcdyruu.org, with your name, congregation affiliation (if any), and dietary preference (vegan, omnivore, and vegetarian).

If you register by January 27th, you will receive a $10 discount. The
deadline for registration is February 12th; registering after the
deadline will result in a late fee of $10. You may be turned away due
to space if you register after February 15th. Full and partial
scholarships are available, but if you plan on requesting one, please
register on time. But please ever don’t hesitate to ask.

Bring your signed registration form and covenant to the conference
with the appropriate amount of money Friday of the Con. Please don’t assume that Maggie will have an extra form for you. The registration forms can be found here.

Spirituality Development Training

This January, PCD YRUU is having a Spirituality Development Training (SDT)! A training is a WORKING event. This means that there will not be much free time and none of the normal activities because the weekend will be full of learning about worship! Also, since this is a training, the age range has been expanded to 14-25. Normal conference rules apply. It will take place at the First Unitarian Universalist Church of SanJose from January 6th to 8th. Instead of having trainers from other districts, this SDT will consist of various workshop-style presentations. Each will be lead by chosen members of the YRUU and the young adult community including Branduin Stroud, Jessica Knapp,Tom Zolot, John Large, and Abbie Tuning. The deans, Mariah Theobald and Maggie Shepherd, chose these individuals for their prominence and experience with leading worship. Nuubies are especially encourage to attend! To register, email Maggie Shepherd. The registration deadline is December 26th. The cost of this training is $40, but registering after December 26th will result in a late fee. You may be turned away if you register after January 2nd.Also, since this is a training, attendance is capped at 45, so please register early to ensure a spot!!
