The time to register for Spirituality Con is upon us. Spirituality Con, like its name might suggest, is a conference that we consider to be a special place to explore and celebrate our own spiritualities. It will be held from May 17 to May 19 at the First Unitarian Universalist Church of Stockton.

To register, please email Reilly Skinner at registrar@pcdyruu.org, with your name, congregation affiliation (if any), dietary preference (vegan, vegetarian, omnivore), and whether you ever attended MUUGS. If you register before April 27 you will receive a $10 discount. The registration deadline is May 15. If you register after that date, you will be turned away as there will be no late registration. Please register on time and bring your completed forms as there will only be a limited number available at the conference. Full and partial scholarships are available, so just let Reilly know if you need one.

WUUKY XII: AbsolUUtely FabUUlous

So its that time of year again! Yes thats right its time to register for WUUKY. Whats WUUKY you ask? Well its not a hairy humanoid mammal from Kashyyyk, its Western
Unitarian Universalist Karmic Youth. This years WUUKY, called AbsolUUtely FabUUlous, will be held from June 30th-July 5th in the Mendocino Woodlands. It will be a fantastic week of fun, games, hanging out, social justice, and spiritual growth.

Since this is WUUKY and not a normal Con, registration is a little different. You do
not need to email us. Instead you fill out the registration form, payment, camper covenant, and medical release to Phoebe Masterson-Eckart(1147 Church St. San Francisco, CA 64114). If your registration is mailed by May 20th, your WUUKY payment is on a sliding scale from $215-$260. After that, it goes up to $250-$295. You must register before June 16th or we cannot guarantee you a place at WUUKY. You can at that point shoot us an email at wuukydeans@gmail.com and get on the waiting list. If we are able to let you come, you’ll pay $310 at WUUKY.

Scholarships are available! Please don’t hesitate to ask for a scholarship if you need one. Email us at wuukydeans@gmail.com as soon as possible. On the other hand, please consider donating to the scholarship/travel fund if you are able. We want to make WUUKY super accessible.

Chaplain Training

There will be a chaplain training held at Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Marin from March 22 to March 24. For those who don’t know, trainings are much like conferences in that they’re safe places for us as youth to celebrate Unitarian Universalism, ourselves, and our diversity in a fun and spiritual weekend. However, this weekend’s activities will be focused on learning the skills required to be a chaplain at a PCD YRUU event. A training is substantially more work than a conference, but we like to think they’re still fun! Normal conference rules apply.

You can register by contacting our registrar Phoebe Masterson-Eckart via Email, registrar@pcdyruu.org or Phone before the registration deadline, March 20. Then bring a signed and completed registration form and medical release to the con, along with your registration fee and a copy of the covenant. No walk-in registrations will be accepted. Please contact Phoebe before the registration deadline. There will be no late registration accepted after the deadline.

ElectionsCon: CONtents

Its time to register for Elections Con. It will be held from February 15 to February 18 at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Santa Cruz County. Due to a space limitations at the UU Fellowship in Santa Cruz County we will be sleeping in tents outdoors. Because of this please, please, please read the “What to bring” and “What not to bring” parts of the registration forms. I cannot emphasize enough how important it is to actually read that section of the forms.

If you register by January 25 you will receive a $10 discount. The registration deadline is February 10. FallCon: Viking Con

Its that time of year again guys! Time to register for Fall Con that is. It will be held from October 19 through October 21 at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Berkley. To register, please email Phoebe Masterson-Eckhart at registrar@pcdyruu.org, with your name, congregation affiliation (if any), dietary preference (vegan, vegetarian, omnivore), and whether you ever attended MUUGS. If you register by September 28 you will recieve a $10 discount. The registration deadline is October 14. If you register after that date you will incur a $10 late fee. People who register after October 17, the wednesday before con, may be turned away due to space. Please register early. Also make sure to bring a filled out registration form and signed covenant to the Conference along with the appropriate amount of money.

There are a limited number of forms the registrar is able to bring, so please do not assume there will be an extra for you. The registration form and covenant can be found here.
